Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On August 6, 2021, Robert L. Miodunski, a director on the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Golden Entertainment, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that he intends to retire from the Board effective immediately. Mr. Miodunski’s retirement from the Board did not result from a disagreement with the Company.

The Company expressed its gratitude to Mr. Miodunski for his service as a director.
