Item 8.01    Other Events.

On June 28, 2021, Capital One Financial Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s Stress Capital Buffer Requirement (“SCB”), as calculated by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System 2021 Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (“CCAR”) process, is 2.5 percent, effective October 1, 2021. The Company's previously disclosed SCB of 5.6%, as calculated by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System 2020 CCAR process, will remain in effect for the third quarter of 2021.
