TPP Araucária – CVU Homologation

 

Companhia Paranaense de Energia – COPEL (“Company”), a company that generates, transmits, distributes and trades energy, with shares listed on B3 SA - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (CPLE3, CPLE5, CPLE6, CPLE11), on NYSE (ELP) and LATIBEX (XCOP, XCOPO, XCOPU), hereby announces to its shareholders and the market in general that the National Electric Energy Agency (“Aneel”), by Order No. 1,578, of June 1, 2021, revised the Variable Cost Unitary – CVU of the Thermoelectric Power Plant TPP Araucária and determined to the National Electric System Operator – ONS the application of the values in the table below for the purposes of planning and scheduling the electrical energy operation of the SIN, from the date of publication of this Order until June 30 of 2021, and by the Electric Energy Trading Chamber - CCEE for the purposes of accounting for the generation verified in the month of June 2021.

Fixed cost portion R$ 228.57/MWh
CVU (not including fixed costs) (2) R$ 825.99/MWh

(1) CVU valid until reaching the amount of generation to recover fixed costs.

(2) CVU valid after reaching the generation amount to recover fixed costs.
