Attached to this report on Form 6-K as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the press release issued by Castor Maritime Inc. (the “Company”) on April 30, 2021, announcing that the Company, through five separate wholly-owned subsidiaries, entered into agreements to acquire two 2006 Korean-built MR1 tankers, two 2004 Korean-built Aframax/LR2 tankers and one 2002 Korean-built Aframax/LR2 tanker from an unaffiliated third-party for an aggregate purchase price of $49.25 million.
