Item 8.01 Other Events

On April 21, 2021, MetroCity Bankshares, Inc. announced the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share on its common stock. This dividend is payable May 13, 2021, to shareholders of record as of May 4, 2021. A copy of the press release announcing the cash dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
