Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a press release issued by Matador Resources Company (the “Company”) on February 22, 2021, announcing the adoption of a dividend policy and the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock.
The dividend policy and the payment of future dividends under that policy will be made at the discretion of the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) and will depend on the Company’s results of operations, cash flows, financial position and capital requirements, as well as general business conditions, legal, tax and regulatory restrictions and other factors the Board deems relevant at the time it determines to declare such dividends.
