Item 8.01. Other Events.
On February 2, 2021, Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (the “Company”) notified Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. (“Voyager”) of the Company’s termination of the NBIb-1817 (VY-AADC) development program in Parkinson’s disease (the “Program”), in accordance with Section 14.2 of the Collaboration and License Agreement dated January 28, 2019 (the “Collaboration Agreement”) between the Company and Voyager. In accordance with the Collaboration Agreement, the effective date of termination of the Program will be August 2, 2021. The termination does not apply to any development program other than the Program, and the Collaboration Agreement will otherwise continue in effect.
