Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 17, 2020, Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) with Mereo BioPharma Group plc (Nasdaq: MREO; AIM: MPH), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and rare diseases, announcing that the parties have entered into a license and collaboration agreement for setrusumab, a monoclonal antibody in clinical development for osteogenesis imperfecta. A copy of the Press Release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
