On December 1, 2020, Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. (“Vanda”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) had approved HETLIOZ® (tasimelteon) capsule and liquid formulations for the treatment of adults and children, respectively, with nighttime sleep disturbances associated with Smith-Magenis Syndrome.
