SECTION 8 - OTHER EVENTS

Item 8.01 Other Events.

Minnesota Power’s Large Power taconite customers, subject to demand nomination requirements, nominate demand levels for their energy needs each December, March, and August for the following four-month periods (excluding Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. United Taconite). Based on nominations received on November 30, 2020, Minnesota Power’s Large Power taconite customers' nominations indicate full production levels for January through April of 2021. In January 2021, Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. United Taconite will nominate for a three-month period beginning in February 2021.

ALLETE will provide earnings guidance in mid-February 2021 which will include the January through April nomination levels along with other assumptions for 2021 that allow for a range of potential outcomes.
