Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On November 18, 2020, CorMedix Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (the “FDA”) has decided to cancel the Antimicrobial Drug Advisory Committee meeting tentatively scheduled for January 14, 2021 to discuss the New Drug Application for Defencath™ after determining that discussion at an advisory committee is not needed. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
