Item 5.02.			Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 27, 2020, W. Paul Bowers, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Power Company (“Georgia Power”), notified Georgia Power of his intention to retire. The effective date of the retirement is expected to be in April 2021.
