On October 9, 2020, Diffusion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (the “Company”) received a written notice from the staff (the “Staff”) of the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the Company was not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) because the bid price for the Company’s common stock had closed below $1.00 per share for the previous 30 consecutive business days.

Nasdaq’s written notice has no effect on the listing or trading of the Company’s common stock at this time, and the Company is currently evaluating its alternatives to resolve this listing deficiency.
