On September 10, 2020, Youssef A. El-Mansy, a member of the board of directors (the “Board”) of Lam Research Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company that he will be retiring from the Board, having reached the age at which he is not eligible to be nominated for re-election under the Company’s corporate governance guidelines. Dr. El-Mansy’s retirement will be effective November 1, 2020, prior to the Company’s 2020 annual meeting of stockholders.
