ITEM 7.01REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

As previously announced, in response to the impacts of COVID-19 on the business of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (the “Company”), the Company previously reduced pay for all corporate employees and bakery administration employees by graduated amounts between 10% and 20% and furloughed approximately 41,000 staff members. The Company is restoring pay for all corporate employees and bakery administration employees below the executive officer level who were subject to the pay reduction.

In addition, given the phased reopening of the Company’s dine-in restaurant operations, the Company has called back to work a majority of its staff members previously furloughed. The Company has also terminated approximately 175 employees in connection with the impacts of COVID-19 on its business and the closure of two restaurants.
