Item 8.01 Other Events.
As previously reported, on March 26, 2020, Zosano Pharma Corporation (the “Company”) received a notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the Company was not in compliance with the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market. On August 14, 2020, the Company received a notice from Nasdaq notifying the Company that it has regained compliance with the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market, as set forth in Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).
The letter noted that for ten consecutive business days, from July 31, 2020 to August 13, 2020, the Company evidenced a closing bid price of its common stock that was greater than or equal to the $1.00 minimum requirement. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) and Nasdaq considers the matter closed.
