Other Events

 

On June 25, 2020, GA Global Partners, an independent auctioneer retained by Second Sight Medical Products, Inc. (the “Company”), conducted an auction of the Company’s office equipment, furniture and other surplus assets primarily related to the Company’s discontinued Argus II product.  The auction excluded equipment and other assets of the Company primarily related to its Orion research and development or Orion early feasibility study.  The Company anticipates that approximate proceeds from the auction will be $350,000 before deducting sales taxes and up to $30,000 of the auctioneer’s expenses. GA Global Partners has approximately 44 days to provide the final accounting of proceeds and expenses, and remit funds.
