On November 22, 2019, Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share, payable on January 2, 2020 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 13, 2019.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. Increases Quarterly Dividend

 

WARRENTON, VA, November 22, 2019 – Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: FBSS) announced today that its Board of Directors on November 21, 2019 declared a quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share, an increase of a half a cent per share. This represents a $0.50 dividend on an annualized basis.  This dividend was declared for shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 13, 2019 and will be payable on January 2, 2020.

 

Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. and its principal subsidiary, The Fauquier Bank, had combined assets of $726.3 million and total shareholders’ equity of $66.0 million at September 30, 2019. The Fauquier Bank is an independent community bank offering a full range of financial services, including internet banking, mobile banking with mobile deposit, commercial, retail, insurance, wealth management, and financial planning services through eleven banking offices located in Fauquier and Prince William Counties in Virginia.
