  Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangement of Certain Officers.

 

On March 17, 2019, Inga Slavutsky gave Rubicon Technology, Inc. (the “Company”) notice that she intends to resign as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer effective April 24, 2019. Ms. Slavutsky’s resignation was not the result of any disagreements with the Company on any matters relating to its operations, policies or practices.

 

The Company has begun a search for a new Chief Financial Officer and will announce Ms. Slavutsky’s replacement as soon as one has been hired.
